InfoPath is a forms-creation and data-gathering tool that helps organisations streamline business processes. New easy-to-use tools allow you to quickly design forms. The Ribbon interface displays commands in a tab structure organised by tasks related to a certain activity. Using InfoPath 2010 you can create SharePoint collaborative workflow solutions. You can enjoy richer Web forms now that combo boxes, filtering and data and time controls are available in browser forms.

InfoPath 2010 forms can be enhanced with code to better fit your specific business process using Visual Studio Tools for Applications and you can now connect forms with line-of-business (LOB) information.
